7 REASONS TO HIRE AN EXPERT SPEAKER

1) An organization or group is having a gathering of members.
Whenever a group or organization is putting time and money into assembling employees in a central area they must first have a purpose in mind. Sometimes it can be to preview a new product line, introduce a new management team, evaluate the last successful fiscal year, learn about new techniques or maybe just a time for employees to team build, network and let their hair down. Whatever the reason for the gathering it is important that there be a focus. An expert speaker can help to provide that focus.

2) The conference needs a "starting" point.
Gatherings begin usually the day before an event. Folks drive and fly and arrive at various times and in different conditions. Some are relaxed and ready for a three or four day break. Others are hurried and frazzled from getting the work done before their departure. And, some are just plain exhausted because they are on the executive committee which planned the event for which everyone is gathering. Meeting in the morning with an open general session to welcome all is prime time for an expert speaker who can serve to "jump start" the sessions.

3) The Keynote Speaker can set the tone for the entire event.
Hopefully the hiring group has done its homework and has selected a speaker who can inspire, awaken, challenge and entertain the audience. The goal is for listeners to leave the session with at least one new insight to take back to their work place.

4)Entertainment, particularly humorous entertainment, can lift spirits and create an atmosphere wherein participants can learn and train in a relaxed manner. Information providing and trainings can sometimes be dry and boring. Humor and laughter generated by an expert speaker can build energy and mental reserves that will be needed for the technical sessions and actual training seminars.

5)Effective keynote speakers have the ability to convey powerful messages through humor and a bit of acting. Audiences become engaged participants. Laughter engendered by the stories delivered are the stamp of approval, the motivation and often times the boost of morale needed. Coaches, celebrities and authors can sometimes write a book but that does not mean they can deliver a motivating, meaningful message!

6) Motivational Speakers, can assist groups and organizations to handle change. Today more than ever before in the changing world of business, industry and education, when financial bottom lines and return on investments are often times the deciding factor in making policy decisions, employees must remain focused, driven and passionate in order to succeed and move the organization ahead. Speakers, expert speakers, motivational speakers, keynote speakers can empower and provide spirit to those employees.

7) Expert speakers can move the listener to action. An effective motivational speaker is a person who inspires the listeners to action. This is accomplished through both what is said and how it is said. It is a skill designed from the heart. Energy, passion, care, commitment, understanding and challenge are the tools necessary to move an audience of individuals to want to take action and create positive motion. It is said that a horse can be led to water but we cannot make it drink. In the case of people, motivational speakers have the ability to make them very thirsty.

Don't think your organization can't afford an expert speaker, in todays world of business, you can't afford not to hire one!
