Jackie's Story
When Jackie Pelletier speaks, if you listen, you hear your own heart beat.....
Jackie Pelletier built a successful career for over thirty 30 years as a teacher, coach, recreation director, principal and interim superintendent. As an accomplished and respected expert in the field of education, thousands of students and many teachers were inspired and challenged by her. During her tenure as an educator, Jackie was honored as the State of Maine Physical Education Teacher of the Year. She was named to the Governor’s Council and chosen to receive a statewide award for her contributions to Adaptive Physical Education and women’s sports. After retiring from her lifelong career in education, Jackie chose to leave Maine and relocate to Asheville, North Carolina. After moving to Western North Carolina, Jackie became the Wine Training Coordinator at the Biltmore Estate Winery, the country’s most visited winery. She currently trains new employees, offers staff development strategies for current employees and mentors workers across the Estate from ages 16 to 82.
